I made two printables. One with a colored background and one that's just black and white. I used the black and white one, printed on some color paper I had, and laminated them.
Color
Black and White
These are the supplies I started with: my laminated pages; some packing tape; and a leftover plastic tablecloth. I just cut the letters out and taped them onto the tablecloth.
My completed project! I used these letters because they were the recommended "difficult letter set" that Cricket has the most trouble with differentiating. I had a little helper by the way, Cricket was very excited by this idea, and loved the finished project. I got a huge hug and thanks mom before we even played.
Cricket had so much fun with this, and it was so easy to make. We not only worked on these letters, but also the colors and left verses right.

What a great Idea!!! Im going to have to steal this idea and make it work for a few letter my son has a difficult time with!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I will definitely be recycling this idea for lower case letters
ReplyDeleteI love the twister idea!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea!
ReplyDeleteAwesome Idea!!! After seeing this, I'm thinking I could adapt twister to teach anything... animals, numbers, shapes...
ReplyDeleteYou could definitely use it to teach anything, and it was so cheap and easy to make (free for me, because I already had everything).
ReplyDeleteOne question, How do you play the game???
ReplyDeleteI's seen this idea before, but forgotten it. Thank you for reminding me of it. I love hands on learning (and feet on in this case!)

ReplyDeleteWell since my little one is so little, and doesn't care I just call out a letter and tell her which hand or foot to use. Your turn is over when you fall =)
As she gets older I might have to make a spinner or write the options on paper and draw them out.
What an awesome idea! I'm featuring you on Tot Tuesdays today! :)
