Baking solution, I hope
I was trying to cook with Cricket recently, and the never ending stream of toddler questions was getting to me that day. We've all had bad days right? Anyway, I decided that maybe some guided imagery would help. I mean I have a recipe to look at, but Cricket can't read it yet. So, I made one for baking cupcakes to try out with her. It is very basic, but I think it will give her an idea of what we are working on and what comes next.

ReplyDeleteI like this idea a lot. I've seen similar ideas (using pictures to use the steps in getting ready for bed, getting ready in the morning, etc) and have meant to try them.
Boardmaker would be an awesome way to do some of this stuff - lots of templates out there too for guided activities that are great for her age.
ReplyDeleteI was totally wishing I had boardmaker as I was making this! I have found tons of great resources though. I have collected most of this year's curriculum from various free resources though.
