Introducing "Mondays with Mimi"

To highlight my incredible Mom and give her just an ounce of the credit she is due, I will be including "Mondays with Mimi" as a part of our blog posts from now on. Mimi watches Cricket every Monday when I attend staff meetings at work (I work from home the rest of the time). They have great fun together and have the best relationship. I truly couldn't ask for more. I get it though, because she is always teaching Cricket in her natural loving way!

Mondays with Mimi

Today I took Cricket to Mimi's house, because she had activities planned for there. Cricket and Mimi baked cupcakes together and Cricket got to work on: measuring; pouring; and stirring. She observed the baking process (which she can't really do at home) and then got to frost and decorate the finished cakes. Best of all she got to eat a cupcake when she finished her lunch! She proudly showed off her creations when I came to pick her up.

They also swam, observed squirrels, and watered Mimi's garden.
