That being said I wanted to ease in to our creation study and really have time to explore it, so that next week we can start incorporating a memory verse too.
Day 1 - We read the creation story together. This was really sweet actually, Cricket sat and snuggled in my lap while I read the whole thing. Then I had her retell the story, which pretty much came out as, "God made everything". I'll take that as a generally understanding to work from!
Day 2- I used the Calendar numbers from Christian Preschool Printables to review the story. I printed and laminated numbers 1-7 before hand. I gave them each to Cricket in order and stated what God made each day in terms she could understand. Then I had her order the cards and express what the cards represented to her.
Day 3- I did a mini review and discussed the bible in general and reminded her of the creation story.
Day 4- We used Calendar numbers again, and this time I just had cricket order them and then state what they were. She was also really wanting to color this day so I went ahead and gave her the Day 1 Coloring Sheet. We also discussed the creation of light in more detail as she colored.
